My Other Shopping Trolley is a Ferarri.

It never fills you with joy to see people on the streets, hunting for food. But it's good to see some of them retain a certain sense of humour.

Belgrade

The drive from Bucharest to Zadar took us 22 hours, so on our return journey we decided to make a stop off in Belgrade and catch up with some friends. In the evening we went to a bar that was apparently Tito's drinking hang out. It was full to the rafters with Communist memorabilia and frequented by rowdy patriotic young serbs (mostly guys) getting drunk and singing songs.

A Night in Nin

Nin is a tiny and beautiful town near Zadar. It is where Nine Inch Nails live and where the word nincompoop was invented. It also houses the smallest cathedral in the world.

As Darkness Fell

After the warm fuzzy loved up vibe of the boat party, the seafarers were exposed to an inspired choice of Benga beats. Yes, the dark dubstep high lord was present at the beach bar to greet us and his sound was akin to a crackhead breaking in to your council flat and bashing your head in with a greasy frying pan! I couldn't listen to this type of music all night but at that particular point in time it was a refreshing break from the sacharine disco sounds we had listened to all weekend.
