Last Saturday Embryo Pics

Cinty Ionescu - phantom Knob Twiddler. DJ's beware.

Last Saturday at Embryo was a resounding success. Mo spun a spacey, classic, cosmic, balearic, whatever you want to call it set of original tunes, and although the crowd had probably never heard any of them before, you can see the reaction on people's faces was favourable. Tom "Pentangle" Wilson started the proceedings and I finished everyone off at the end. I won't go into trainspotter mode regarding how great the music was. Suffice to say it was diverse yet cohesive, and if you're looking for a quality night with a social, stylish crowd, you'd do a lot worse than to give this a try.

Hopefully we'll be bringing more hot international DJ action over to Embryo very soon. Check back for news. Also check Mo's band out, A Mountain Of One on their myspace page here and say hello.

we didn't pay him enough, so Mo went pickpocketing the begging kids on the street. As you can see from the photo he has a very deft left hand.
