Saturday night was party night, and we headed east for Nathan's ESP party in Bethnal Green. Great music from Nathan and Tony, complimeted nicely by bumping into a lot of old friends :)

London Shopping

The first thing on the agenda when arriving in London is shopping, and lot's of it. Here we took an well deserved rest in one of London's swankier establishments, Sketch.

I stumbled across this advert on Gumtree whilst trying to find some Justice tickets... unbelievable!

Justice at Somerset House, London

I will be in London from the 11th - 15th July, and i've just noticed Justice will be playing at Somerset House on the 11th July. It's sold out already but I desperately want to go! Can you believe it, 3am in the morning and I can't sleep because i'm being attacked by the first mosquitos of the year. And to think it's snowing in the UK.

A couple of coinciding extreme weather conditions... makes you think... global warming... something I've been thinking about a lot recently... as it happens :)

Now it's time to get extreme myself. Found a bottle of OFF! in the kitchen cupboard, a left over from last summer. Gonna spice it up with some extra ****! and really give to them. Goodnight.

Boxing Day in London

Boxing Day in London, and i've never seen Portobello Road so deserted.

Back in London

Spotted at Nambucca, a pub in North London. They had the smelliest toilets i've ever had the pleasure peeing in, but the bands were pretty good- "Why Whiskey Why" were particularly great. Two girls (16 & 17) who were 1 part folk, 1 part Coco Rosie and another part something else.

London Town. One Night Only.

Sunday evening saw me take a flight from Cologne straight to London for my good friend Irish Steve's birthday celebration. I landed at Stanstead airport in the pouring rain to be met by Sean who very kindly offered to pick me up. It was great to see him and we listened to some of his latest cosmic edits as we sat in rain and traffic on the M11, slowly making our way towards East London. After what seemed like an eternity we finaly drove into Shoreditch and hooked up with Steve and the rest of his friends in the Griffin pub. By this time it was quite late in the night and we managed a couple of beers before the pub closed. We then proceeded to another friend of mine Barnzley's new office which was in fact a carriage of a tube train which had been lifted up by a crane and left on the roof of a building! Final stop of the night was a Burlesque night hidden away from day to day life in a basement bar in Stoke Newington. It was great to catch up with old friends, although I wish I had more time to spend in London.
